The Power of Quiet Leadership: Why Kindness Makes People Bloom

Not every leader needs to give a speech.
Some just give you space.
Early in my career, I worked with someone who didn’t raise their voice, but raised everyone around them.
Someone who taught me not to focus on what's wrong but what's right.
They didn’t preach.
They didn’t compete.
They didn’t care who got the credit.
They cared about their people.
And people bloomed under their leadership.
They taught me how to take risks and not apologise for being ambitious as long as am being respectful to others.
They taught me that you can be kind and yet to be strong.
They taught me to sell my goals to others and to work wonders through them.
They showed me that leadership isn’t about seeing what's wrong in others, but what's standing in their way.
And in that mindset, I grew.
So much of who I am today was shaped by that.
And so much of that was seen as weakness by many until today.
Many think a long face and commanding voice gives them rank.
But little do they know.
To every quiet force behind someone else's growth : Thank You 🙏🏻 ☀️.
