I had the honor of hosting Al Masaood's latest sustainability initiative yesterday, the launch of the very first electric heavy-duty truck in the region.
Yesterday, Al Masaood's Commercial & Equipment Vehicles Division & Renault Trucks Middle East successfully launched the Renault Trucks’ E-Tech, the first 100% electric heavy-duty waste management truck in the UAE and the entire Middle East, yesterday in the heart of the capital Abu Dhabi.
This collaboration towards sustainable mobility in the waste management sector was powered by multiple valuable stakeholders, Tadweer - Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company, Averda, and Gorica Group to which we are immensely grateful.
In line with the UAE’s Net-Zero 2050 and Abu Dhabi’s Environment 2030 strategy, Al Masaood continues to chart our path to sustainability as the country prepares to host COP28.
